CASE STUDY
Wolters Kluwer
concept: zero in
Cyber threats grow more sophisticated and serious by the day. If you’re a professional software and services company like Wolters Kluwer, they pose an existential threat to your business. When you’re servicing major Fortune 500 companies, security is paramount.
Against this backdrop, the work of Wolters’ IT group has become ever more critical. Their leadership team, however, was having trouble communicating to the C-Suite the value of several key initiatives they were proposing, including a zero-trust security approach. Until we helped them Zero In, that is.

THE RESULTS
By focusing on the benefits – the tangible value IT enables Wolters Kluwer to “zero in” on – we helped get this initiative signed off and elevated IT’s place within the organization.
Zero In gave IT a platform for all their messaging. Zero trust is a guiding philosophy for IT security, and its rollout entailed major changes not only to IT process, but also to the way security was baked into Wolters Kluwer’s software products.
We first created a presentation to introduce the C-suite to zero trust and highlight the benefits. Once that was a success, we created Zero In messaging to communicate to employees the changes that would be taking place, and provide a rationale that would motivate them to enthusiastically participate.
